John Higgins awarded as Snooker player of the year due to his fabulous performance in session 2015-16. He was at 13th in World ranking but after winning 2 ranking events that are International Championship and Australian Goldfields Open and  reaching Quarter Finals of World Snooker Championship 2016 now he is on World Rank 6th.

Selby Crowned the King of CRUCIBLE 2016

After 17 days of magical snooker the World Snooker Championship 2016 ends with the trophy in the hands of Jester from Leicester, The World No. 1 Mark Selby. He had his ups and downs in the four sessions of the Final clash but he kept his nerves and played absolute safety to clinch the 32nd frame to win 18-14 as predicted by Neil Robertson on twitter. Spectators and experts are amazed at the performance of Ding Junhui who played seven rounds to reach the Final. He proved he's a fighter and can play the hardest possible pots under so much pressure. In the end CRUCIBLE CLASH concluded very well with 86 centuries leveling the record of World Snooker Championship 2015. Now fans will be waiting for the World Snooker Championship 2017 as the tickets went on sale yesterday.

We witnessed great snooker in second session of WSC 2016 Final. Ding did well after the first session where he closed with 6-2 trail, but under immense pressure he played well in third season and did a great come back. Tension increased when two frames went way longer than usual, one of them was an over 60 minutes frame. At the end it's Selby who's leading 10-7 over night.

CLASH of the CRUCIBLE

Crucible will see the FINAL Clash between Mark Selby and China's Ding Jinhui on 1st May 2016. Spectators are hoping to see some more of great snooker in the final; They have already witnessed 81 centuries in the championship so far and it is expected they'll see more which could break the 'Most Centuries Record' of 2015 which currently stands at 86. We'll have to wait for the Final to see who will be crowned THE CRUCIBLE KING FOR 2016. Is it going to be 'Jester from Leicester' or 'The Dragon'.
